General Questions
What is a website builder?
The website builder is an easy-to-use application, which makes it possible
for you to build your own homepage. In a few steps, with a few mouse clicks,
you can publish a professional website on the internet.
Do I need programming knowledge to be able to use the website
builder?
No programming knowledge is necessary. You need merely a computer with
access to the internet.
What is so special about the website builder?
The website builder has been developed especially for beginners and fascinates
by his intuitive user guidance. This will make it possible for you to
create a professional website in just minutes.
How can I test the website builder?
Yes! Simply click on the "free trial" button. You can then immediately
start to build your own homepage.
What can be done if my login data is forgotten?
Your initial login data will be sent by email after your registration.
However, if you lost/forgot your login data, simply click on „password
forgotten “in the login area and you would receive your login data
by e-mail.
I was for personal reasons not able to finish the trial period.
Can I get time credited or another test?
For special reasons our team can adapt or extend your free trial period.
Do I have to unsubscribe after finishing the free trial period?
You need to do nothing. Your account will be automatically deactivated
by us.

What are the costs for the various packages?

Which payment methods are supported?
You can pay by bank credit transfer, debit or PayPal.
I ordered a package and paid by bank transfer / PayPal. How long
will it take until my page is unlocked?
Immediately after payment is confirmed your page will be unlocked.
Do I get an invoice?
After each order you get an invoice in PDF format, by mail.
Can I change my package?
Changing a package is no problem. Just send us an e-mail and the conditions
of the contract are adapted accordingly.
There are no terms of notice. You can discontinue your account any time by email or fax to the end date of the contract.
Domains
Can I select my own (Domain) name for my homepage?You can select any Domain name for your homepage. There are two possibilities.
- www.company.com/your-name
- www.your-name.com
Basically every customer gets an internet address of the first type.
This is absolutely free and belongs to every package. If you prefer the
second version (www.your-name.com), you have to fill out the suitable
form in your user area. It is automatically tested whether your desired
name is still available. Afterwards we will reserve your name at the responsible
registration authority once your registration payment is received.

How do I order a Domain?
To test whether your desired domain name is still free, click inside your
customer area on "Menu" and then "Order internet address"
How long does it last till I receive my domain name?
Basically we register domain names right after your payment. It takes
approximately 48 hours, until your Domain is registered and available.
I already have my own internet address (Domain). Can I use this
for my new homepage?
Yes you can. You just have to cancel your contract with you old domain
provider. After this we transfer your Domain.
Yes. You can order and use several domain names.
E-Mails
Do I get my own e-mail accounts?
Depending on the pricing plan you choose, you get a certain number of
email accounts.

How do I order my own email accounts and how are they customized?
Just send us a mail with the desired emails addresses. Our team will customize
your email accounts
Do I have to adjust outlook/outlook express or another mail client
to access my email accounts?
Yes you have to. This manual helps you to customize email accounts with
outlook/outlook express.
While creating the accounts something does not work?
Check whether you used the correct user name and password (send by us)
when you create the accounts. Check whether you used the correct POP and
SMTP server address (provided in the “customize email accounts link”)
Can I get forwarding the e-mails to an address such as GMX, Hotmail,
etc.?
We can redirect your mails to any chosen e-mail addresses.
I get a lot of spam mail using my contact form. How can I avoid
that?
In your contact form deactivate the option "My e-mail address should
appear on this page.
Hint: Leave your e-mail address only to trusted sites and services.
Some of my received mails are probably missing or have not arrived
in my mailbox. Why is that?
Look into your spam folder (or junk mail folder). Mark those mails as
"no spam".
Functionality
Can I replace the basic design at a later date?
You can change your basic homepage design at any time. All texts and pictures
will remain the same.
Can I upload mp3's, videos, Word or PDF documents on my site?
Yes, you can upload all data types.
Can I also edit HTML code with the website builder?
Yes you can edit HTML code.
Can I place banner ads on my site?
Yes you can place them on your site.
Search Engines / Google
How can I optimize my website for search engines?
With our system you have the possibility to define individual Meta information
for every created page. Besides, it includes page title, description and
key words. Thus you yourselves create the basis for an optimum ranking
in search engines!
How long does it take until my page is found on Google?
New web pages are not immediately indexed by Google. Depending on the
importance and actuality of the page a certain period of time will pass.
Our experiences have shown that in approximately 2-3 weeks your page will
be found on Google.
Why Google shows pages, which I have already changed or no longer
exist?
Google updates at regular intervals his data stocks. Because there are
so many websites on the internet some time can pass by, until its data
stocks are being updated.
